Well at least some new (full!) tracks, a lot of people were interested to buy new MJ music after watching EOA soundtrack to a 17min short?

Which songs were those? Dirty Diana? Liberian Girl? Some other song no one has heard of?I hope we get to hear the songs John and Michael worked on at Caribou in 1984
They visited the ranch for about 4 days during the Victory tour in September. John mentioned Liberian Girl and APOM being working on again during the last part of Victory. Dirty Diana was recorded in 1983 and registered in 1984, 1985 and 1987 so he working on that throughout the years.Which songs were those? Dirty Diana? Liberian Girl? Turns out blocking us with your last account didn’t prevent you from getting banned again. Seems there are dozens more people on the board reporting you. Lets see how long this one lasts… Gaz is all over you.Wow. That is the reason why I like this album so much?
Now he’s in his ‘generic sounding American names’ phase. He’ll try everything.Turns out blocking us with your last account didn’t prevent you from getting banned again. Seems there are dozens more people on the board reporting you. Lets see how long this one lasts… Gaz is all over you.
Was APOM ever considered for Victory? They visited the ranch for about 4 days during the Victory tour in September. If it wasn't for Quincy we'd never have Man In the Mirror. We'd also never have Just Good Friends
Think this sums up what kinda taste you have lolThat's crazy. Thanks to Quincy, we got both the best and worst songs on the album
Producer
This person has overall creative and technical control of the entire recording project and the individual recording
sessions that are a part of that project. He or she is present in the recording studio or at the location recording and
works directly with the artist and engineer. The producer makes creative and aesthetic decisions that realize both
the artist’s and label’s goals in the creation of musical content. Other duties include but are not limited to: keeping
budgets and schedules, adhering to deadlines, hiring musicians, singers, studios and engineers, overseeing other
staffing needs, and editing (Classical projects).
This.I think some people misunderstand the job of the producer. [...]
Didn't Greg Phillinganes come up with the keyboard solo on DSTYGE? Solo's don't count as part of songwriting, so he wouldn't get credit. Same thing with Eddie Van Halen and Beat It.I think some people misunderstand the job of the producer. That job is not primarily about selecting suitable songs for the album, or coming up with musical ideas. That can be part of it, but there is much more to the job: choosing session musicians, coaching those musicians, supervising the recording proces, controlling budget and planning, and so on.
This is the definition of a producer used by the organization that hands out the Grammy Awards:
In my opinion, John Barnes deserved more credit for composing. Not for producing. Just like Brad Buxer deserved to be credited as a composer on Stranger in Moscow, and Greg Phillinganes on Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough.
Yeah. I don't believe him anymore.Didn't Greg Phillinganes come up with the keyboard solo on DSTYGE? Solo's don't count as part of songwriting, so he wouldn't get credit. Same thing with Eddie Van Halen and Beat It.
As for Brad Buxer he changed his story so many times about Stranger In Moscow that I don't believe a word he says. He went from ''I played a couple of chords'' to ''I helped co-compose the music'' to ''I composed the music all by myself''
Not Me. Another Part of Me is so freaking catchy. It's honestly the best song on Bad in my opinion. My favorite for sure.
We need a thumbs down emote"Another Part of Me" should have been an outtake just like "Streetwalker". Neither song is very good, so the fact MJ was fighting with Frank and Quincy over it was silly. Just leave both songs off the album. Get that trash "Just Good Friends" off, too.
Bad should have been 9 tracks like Thriller. Add "Leave Me Alone" to all version of the album.
1. Bad
2. The Way You Make Me Feel
3. Speed Demon
4. Liberian Girl
5. I Just Can't Stop Loving You
6. Dirty Diana
7. Smooth Criminal
8. Man in the Mirror
9. Leave Me Alone
Better album. "Speed Demon", "Liberian Girl" and especially "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" are weak songs, too, but they're passable enough.
