We are a group of very concerned Michael Jackson fans. We are uniting out of our respect for Michael Jackson and his legacy. He was a global superstar and while he should be remembered for his artistry, he should also be remembered for his humanitarianism. Of equal importance was his love for his own children and his loyal fans. These are the things an individual like Michael Jackson should be remembered for... not the tragic manner in which he was taken from us.

The man responsible for taking Michael away from his children, family, and fans, Conrad Murray is scheduled to be released from jail in a matter of days. Murray is now a convicted felon, who was put in handcuffs and taken to jail moments after his manslaughter conviction. Michael Jackson’s fans from all over the globe are steadfast in our belief that Conrad Murray should not be allowed to profit from his criminal negligence, which resulted in the death of another human being. A human being beloved by millions all over the world.

We are reaching out to all media outlets, broadcasters, public relations organizations, and publishers, in an attempt to encourage them not to give Murray a platform to profit or exploit the life and/or death of Michael Jackson. Murray has shown absolutely no remorse for his crime and accepts no responsibility for his egregious actions and negligence. Instead, he continues to re-victimize Michael Jackson and his children. Murray continues through his agents and through jail house interviews to shift the blame post-conviction to his victim. In a reckless and thoughtless act, Murray released a taped message to Michael’s daughter, Paris. In this act he has demonstrated his selfishness and heartlessness towards the very child he left orphaned by his criminality.

We are determined to hold any organizations accountable for any/and all partnerships with Murray. If necessary, we will reach out to advertisers, sponsors and community organizations, to prevent Murray from profiting. Murray should not be given any platforms to spread 'his truth' especially since he refused to tell 'his truth' under oath. Our fight for justice for a just man such as Michael knows no limits. We believe that all media outlets should respect the fact that Michael Jackson is no longer here to defend himself against any allegations, and let this man, who millions love and continue to mourn, finally rest in peace.

I'm pretty sure no one in his/her right mind who considers an MJ fan would help that murderer to profit off Michael but the people who hates him it will, including the media.

Can we set down some clear rules for the board please. What is the plan - are we going for an all out ban on any Murray stories?

ETA I know BoycottCM plan is to limit the clicks to web sites, are they going to copy the story with link removed? Do we copy it from there to here?

It would be nice to ignore it all completely, but with the best will in the world if you hear a snippet you do go looking, which is how these places get so many 'clicks', so personally,and with regret, I do think we need one place where people can easily access.

Oh Idk, Im very torn on this one.

We will allow discussion in the Murray release thread in Trials and Tribulations forum , but no links allowed. that way members can read and discuss the articles from here instead of going to any sites. I believe the Boycott FB will be doing similar. You have to be aware of what is going on to take any action. Now as far as actual interview - videos etc. I'm Not sure but I assume they will probably be banned from the board but we may allow Youtube vids that fans record to keep traffic of the websites promoting it, so they don't profit. We will see what the general consensus is when and if that time comes. This Campaign thread we can use for updates about the campaign to keep fans informed and to make pledges and discuss any actions that may be needed by the fans. We will get back with you once we have a clear plan.
 
Have admins of this site contacted on the estate and asked if they could do something or if they have advices to us what more can we do?
 
No we havent and we don't plan to. The fans have this under under control, they know what to do to boycott Murray. The Estate has no control over Murrays release or his actions. They have enough on their plate as it is. If things get out of control they may make a statement to admonish Murray but that's about all they can do. I hope they stay away and just continue lifting Michael to the sky and beyond with their projects and fight hard in the courts for his Legacy. I think We got this one.

Just follow the lead of the Boycott Murray Campaign they will let us know when we should act and how to do it. So we are all on the same page.. they will supply addresses and email of sponsors and those who will give Murray a voice. We may not be able to stop him completely but we can sure slow him down and not make it profitable for him or those who promote him.

Please follow and read their FB page for valuable info and we will try to keep you posted it in here as well.

This campaign is not about being hateful or or fans making fools of themselves attacking people on the Internet. This is about being a strong, united, intelligent voice of the fans to come against Murray profiting, exploiting Michael and those who will support him. We want to be taken serious.
 
I wish for a questioning of him by one or more good journalists in a program where they fire questions like :what is a life worth for you?What do you think about a doctor who would leave you alone after the dr had started to give you anesthesia?What do you think about a dr who would give you drugs and then record what you say.


He probably won´t answer the question, maybe he would leave the show but those who watch it can see how stupid he is.
Of couse I don´t want him to get lots of money for it and I don´t need to see it .

If that time comes the Boycott campaign will most likely supply the information of the sponsors and addresses and emails to contact them and we will post it here for you.

Melanie, if you are reading here, or someone with twitter, can you to tweet Melanie to tweet that press release to people such as:

Lady Gaga
Britney and Justin
and any other musician or other entertainer that is supportive to Michael. If they re-tweet Mellies pr release, it will reach millions of people, most importantly, all the tabloids are following their twitter accounts and might think twice if they want to interview CM.

Greetings,

We’d like to inform our members, fellow MJ advocates and fellow Michael Jackson fans we are creating accounts with various MJ fan groups and forums with the intentions of extending ourselves in a more direct manner for anybody who would like to get in contact with us to address concerns or ask us any questions they may have about the campaign and it’s objectives.

Also, we’d like to personally thank everybody for the time and effort being placed in assisting the Boycott Conrad Murray Campaign and our objectives. To all Media:​


The Boycott Conrad Murray Campaign would like to make it very clear we do NOT condone, encourage, or endorse threats to people’s physical safety and/or threats of death/violence. The TMZ story is prime example of how tabloid press gets attention and why Valerie Wass would utilize them. It has been her duty to try to rehabilitate Conrad Murray in the eyes of the public. In this, recent piece, entitled “FBI investigates Death Threats” she’s trying hard to cast him the victim. While her assertions could be true, there is no proof, which indicates any of the comments she received actually came from Michael Jackson fans, as members of his fan base have never physically attacked any of his detractors for over 40 yrs.

It is our expressed opinion that these accusations Valeria Wass is making are unjust because there isn’t even a manner to determine their validity and whether or not they came from actual Michael Jackson fans.

Ms. Wass seems to be very oblivious to the fact that it is NOT just MJ fans who find her client, Conrad Murray, despicable. Many from the general public believe he was disgusting and egregious in his treatment of his patient who died on his watch.

For all we know and for all Ms. Wass knows, her arrogance and that of her client’s could be off-putting to a lot of people who believe that Michael Jackson was owed common, human decency from Conrad Murray at the very least. As past has shown us, it is the tabloid media that attempts to titillate with very little real facts to support their stories.

Its also possible that the controversy of Conrad Murray’s conviction is simply attracting people who’s only purpose is to agitate the situation and cause fray for the sole purpose of creating news where it doesn’t really exist.

@ABC7Courts....let's be clear ! The majority of Michael Jackson's fans PAID attention to what Michael said and sang about. Michael Jackson was a man who believed in peace and healing the world. It was proven throughout his life , with Michael's dedication and support of humanitarian causes.

In regard, to Conrad Murray, the majority of the Michael Jackson fan base just wants him to be quiet and go away. Instead , Murray and his representatives seem steadfast in making money from cultivating and encouraging tabloid interest. Murray clearly is not concerned about the validity of any death threats considering his post jail release behavior. Murray with tabloid photographers in tow , is hanging from trees in a gorilla suit, chowing down at In & Out Burger. Does this sound like a man who is in fear of the wrath of Michael Jackson's fans?

Murray and Valerie Waas once again have underestimated the tenacity of the fan base. We are aware that Murray will sign over his soul to the devil, if it would garner him financial support. Murray is the man who showed up at Michael's grave site with a camera crew. Murray recklessly recorded a tape message to Michael's daughter , Paris and sent said recording to the tabloid media . Mr.Murray...Michael's fans don't want to harm you. We want you to stop victimizing .......Michael Jackson .
