Re: Possible Expert Witnesses for Katherine Jackson

What I find interesting is what the addict expert will say to favor the family side or to favor AEG side.
What the cardiologist will say to favor the family side or to favor AEG side.
I would like to see how the forensic expert ties AEG to what the forensic evidence shows. In fact, I want to see how all these experts can link their findings to AEG negligent hiring.

Emery Neal Brown , MD

Dr. Emery Neal Brown is a professor of anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School, a professor of computational neuroscience at M.I.T. and a practicing physician, seeing patients at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He commented on a article about Michael Jackson

Q. Why would someone like Michael Jackson take the anesthetic Propofol for insomnia?

A. I can only conjecture. But that incident is another reason why I think we need to be more precise describing what we do. If an anesthesiologist says, “We’re going to have you go to sleep,” some might think you could use these drugs for sleep. The bottom line is that when you’re undergoing anesthesia, you’re in a state akin to a coma. That always needs to be remembered.

What a huge list of experts. This is bringing in the big guns, but who is going to pay for all these experts???

I guess if they are Katherine's she will pay for them, which means the estate.

The interesting thing about experts, is that you can have them make a case for any side they are working for.

Dr. Wallace entered private practice in 1979 with his father, a cardiologist, but assumed Dr. Dubois’ practice on his passing in 1985. He is the author of 6 medical textbooks (including the last 6 editions of Dubois' Lupus Erythematosus, All About Fibromyalgia, The Lupus Book, All About Osteoarthritis, The New Sjogren's Syndrome Handbook, and Fibromyalgia & Other Central Pain Syndromes), 25 book chapters, and over 300 medical publications. The latter have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, the Lancet, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Immunology, and Journal of the American Medical Association.
Wallace’s academic efforts include having served as Chief of Rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Century City Hospital, and the City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, CA. He is currently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. His clinical practice is based at Cedars-Sinai, where he is involved in the care of 2,000 lupus patients, the largest practice of its kind in the United States and co- directs the Cedars Sinai Rheumatology fellowship program. The Wallace Rheumatic Disease Research Center currently runs over 30 clinical trials for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. The center has been the recipient of multiple National Institute of Health grants. 20% of his time is spent in teaching and research, providing free medical care.
Dr. Wallace’s volunteer work has entailed serving as Chairman of the Lupus Foundation of America, the Research and Education Foundation of the American College of Rheumatology, and on the Board of Directors of the United Scleroderma Foundation, the Lupus Research Institute and the American Society for Apheresis. He has served on the Medical Advisory Board of the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation and the American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association. His service has been recognized by being named as among the 200 best doctors in the nation by Town and Country Magazine, best doctors in Los Angeles by Los Angeles Magazine, Best Doctors in America editions since 1994. Dr. Wallace is the recipient of the Lupus Foundation of America Humanitarian Award, Achievement award of the Lupus Research Institute, Spirit Award of the Scleroderma Foundation and the Jane Wyman Humanitarian Award of the Arthritis Foundation. His efforts have raised over $20 million for various rheumatic disease organizations.
In addition to his commitments and responsibilities, he is devoted to his wife (and sometimes co-author), Janice Wallace and their 3 children.

Ivy What possible documents would they need to examine by an expert? The emails are computer generated. Is there an AEG signature on a document that relates to Muarry?

This is an interesting set of experts with quite impressive qualifications. However I don't understand the relevance of some of them (handwriting experts for example), and sometimes it seems like an overkill. Why do they need 3 anesthesiologist to testify? Won't 1 will be enough?

Ivy are these experts for the family or AEG? Maybe if we know which group the experts belong to, it may help us see what aspect of the case they will testify to? Yes the document expert is puzzling me too.

Re: Possible Expert Witnesses for Katherine Jackson

oh and a tidbit

According the the schedule plans AEG is at least trying to have the experts in the following areas

sports medicine, forensic pathologist, forensic document expert, tour expert, film expert.

Family . is my title "Possible Expert Witnesses for Katherine Jackson" confusing? should I change it to something else?

Re: Possible Expert Witnesses for Katherine Jackson

They have a David Berman on the list for addiction The only thing I can find out about him is that he was a rockstar that tried to commit suicide by using crack-cocaine, alcohol, and the prescription drug Xanax. I dont see what this has to do with Michael..

I hope they are not going to try to say that Michael was depressed and wanted to commit suicide...or maybe he will talk about addiction from the meds Murray had Michael on.,

sports medicine, forensic pathologist, forensic document expert, tour expert, film expert.

Is the film expert going to look at the TII film and state how Michael condition looked?
Could the tour expert state that Michal's tour contract & what was expected of him was standard procedure?
I could see why AEG would need their own pathologist & forensic expert if the family are having theirs, because AEG would have to counteract what the family experts say.

Xthunder maybe he is going to show parallels between his drug taking & Michael's. It seems as we thought that this case will be drug driven..

Berman is a tour expert. Are you talking about Silver Jews or someone else? Can you give me a link to look at to that info?
