On VH1 announced they are going to show a new Michael Jackson Video for 'They Don't Care About Us' From the This Is It Film They Airing the Commercial for the video It primeres on a Tuesday January 2009 On VH1, VH1 Classic, & Palladia.. Have any of you heard this or seen the commericals? I just seen it tonight on TV..on VH1 Classic. I can't find no listings on the sites,but I did see it in VH1 Classic..

This Saturday they are airing Michael's Videos along with the TII Acess.




Michael Jackson day all day tomorrow Saturday Jan. 23rd plus all acess VH1 VH1 Classic

I've seen the commercial, as far as the video goes, its nothing we haven't seen before.

I have seen the commercial twice on Wednesday during "For The Love Of Ray Jay" show but I can't find any info on VH1 site
:yes: It did say the premier of TDCAU video from "This Is It" film on Tuesday January 19, 2010 at 10:00 - cant remember if it is am or pm

The 30-minute special will take viewers behind the scenes of the making of "Michael Jackson's This Is It" tour prior to his untimely passing. The special, taken from footage from the critically acclaimed film "Michael Jackson's This Is It," will also include additional new content not previously seen in the blockbuster film. Not that I'm against airing anything MJ especially this song since it is so blunt in it's message...I just think that it's a bit ironic that this particular song was banned as was the video when it first came out and now it's okay to air after his passing.

Someone make sure to record and upload the Palladia broadcast of the special. Palladia is a HD channel :)

Is this going to air on January 23? Because that's all I see on my cable guide in regards to "This Is It'...

Viacom owns/operates VH1, MTV, CMT, and other music channels...

I think the people behind MTV play a huge role in that deal, as theres always commercials for MTV shows and showings of MTV shows on VH1 and not the other way around. Same with BET, from the couple of times I've watched the network.

Ha! That's a good point.:scratch:
TDCAU is an incredible song, I remember back in 1995 when HIStory album first came out, even MJ haters loved that song. :)

They did this with the long version of the "Black or White" video. VH1 and VH1 Classic never used to air the Panther Sequence scene when MJ was alive, but now they are. :mello:

IMO, They don't mind airing such footage now because it's PG compared to the stuff being shown in music videos today. It is rare that I find a video without overt sexual references and offensive lyrics. Can I view a Beyonce video or performance without so much of her crotch showing, probably not. Same goes for that Trey Songz guy and his *soft porn* video for "Think I Invented Sex"...::rolling eyes::
