Here's my first drawing of Blanket, he like Sasuke Uchiha, is getting popular to girls his age. Hanabi Hyuga (left) just quickly having a huge crush on the baby of Michael's kids. Moegi (right) checking him out as a new kid and Blanket is coming very shy. I just thought I like to draw him that way. Hope you like it.

he's 7 for goodness sake! Isn't there a law somewhere that says you can't call minors 'studs'!

Yes I know he's 7and I haven't heard such thing about it, I mean what else could I use instead of stud huh?

Well, 'PoP' came up with that title in jest (if not she/he can correct me). No need to take everything so seriously, especially if such was clearly not the intention of the poster. There has to be room for some lighthearted threads on the forum. All in my modest opinion of course. I'm just a guest here - it's all up to those that run the forum.

Likewise I am entitled to my own opinion. Just because I run the forum doesn't mean I can't contribute my thoughts on a subject. Has nothing to do with being lighthearted - in my own opinion I think it's sick to call a 7yr old a stud but again that's my opinion and I would take exception if someone said that about my own sons who are 9 and 10. So your banter is yours and I'm entitled to disagree with it. That is how the forum is run - varying opinions and respect. At no time did I say it had to be changed - just gave my opinion of it.
 
hehe...I personally don't see the title "stud" as offensive for a child. I guess that's cause I don't take it in it's literal sense, but just as another term for "good looking". I've called some of my friends toddlers little "studmuffins"! :p

Aside from that, super cute drawing!

No matter how hard I try, I can't for the life of me find anything in my post that would suggest that you are not entitled to your opinion or that you shouldn't express it.
 
I think 'stud' was a joke. Please don't be too harsh on the poster.

I like the drawing but the discription is innapropriate for a innocent child

Becuase Stud has a sexual connatation to it
It doesnt mean good looking or handsome ..

1 a: a group of animals and especially horses kept primarily for breeding b: a place (as a farm) where a stud is kept

2: studhorse ; broadly : a male animal kept for breeding

3 a: a young man : guy ; especially : one who is virile and promiscuous
b: a tough person
 
When a person says stud though they just mean a boy that all the girls like.

Stud is a bit uncomfortable for a 7/8 yr old but it was said in jest.

Agreed. These days the word "stud" is really not said in it's literal form...it's turned into slang for really good looking/boy all the girls like. So lighten up peeps! :)
 
The picture is adorable, I love manga/anime...I admit I find that 'stud' thing a bit uncomfortable also, but I am pretty sure you didn't mean it like that ;)

Okay, about the stud thing, I didn't know okay, I thought that was a cute, so just forget about it. I haven't thought of it, maybe I should've named it "Blanket Jackson's Shyness". To some who likes my drawings I'm glad you love it, but now I'm getting very uncomfortable to this.

See? This is what I was hoping didn't happen in this thread... it's not about the title, it was about a picture that the poster put their heart and soul into.. which I thought was very nice.. It's been so TENSE today.. relax everyone... I am sure they didn't mean stud in a bad way...

yea i totally agree, i think the title to some people perhaps means something different. to me it just means cute. i call my little cousin whos younger than blanket a wee stud, it really has got no sexual meaning to it lol

I'm glad some you agree with me and they think that differently, because of what they said, I got a headache because they stressed me out and I was so scared. I felt so humiliated, that's not what I wanted at all. I really hate criticism. I never mean it in a bad way and you should just GIVE IT A REST! That'll make you understand how I feel.
 
Okay, well my positive remarks are that it's a great drawing. There was a point in time, I'd wish I could have suggested to MJ to watch Naruto, because I felt he would've liked the anime based on the content of most of the episodes.

As far as the title, sometimes people see words on the screen and take it how they would use the words themselves...and sometimes that does not coincide with how the poster used it, so Pop, don't worry about it too much....move on to the next positive thing. :D

I'm over this now, now that they can shut up about it. Still, Naruto is one of the main reasons I want to share with Michael if he's still alive. I also wanted Michael to watch and read Naruto with me. I'm very happy find my drawing great. That's all I wanted. And for the record it's not a poster.
