2/16/07 - flew over Neverland Ranch at about 1000 feet in a private aircraft. No staff were seen and the grounds look to be only somewhat maintained.

Many of those I had already seen but their where many that I hadn't seen.
The pictures taken when the ranch had been left to run down are so sad. I feel so angry that Michaels property and privacy was violated in such a horrible way and that because of that Michael feels that Neverland can no longer be his home. Neverland was such a beautiful and peaceful place that gave many deprived children a place to leave their troubles behind.
But we can't change what has happened and I think Michael is right to move on with his life....whatever his plans with colony and Sycamore Valley Ranch I wish him luck.

I've always loved carousel horses, and those have to be some of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. I'm really going to miss Neverland.

Blimey i bet that took some up keep :agree:nice pictures, reminds me of the 90s :wub: i want to take that sad horse (from the carousel) home. looking at the nightime photos on the sight its feels really eeri to me because theres no one there, but very magical at the same time, the whole wondermant and magic of it. feels like ive been there before at nighttime somehow even tho i havent (not inside anyway)

Gosh, first it was goodbye Neverland. Then it was goodbye Michael. It's so empty!!! What was once full of life & love is devoid of life completely, left in despair... I wish the place didn't leave such bad memories for Michael, I really do. It was a beautiful, beautiful place. A lot of thought went into making that place. I love it so much; I'd love to live there, really.

Neverland Ranch Souvenir Building

Since Michael Jackson’s tragic death, his Neverland Ranch is getting renewed attention. I remembered that Boym Partners produced souvenir buildings of MJ’s ranch. The bonded nickel piece was designed in 1998 and still for sale at $110 on their website. The real Neverland Valley Ranch (formerly the Sycamore Valley Ranch) is a developed property in Santa Barbara County, California, most famous for being a home of Entertainer Michael Jackson from 1988 to 2005. It is named after Neverland, the fantasy island in the story of Peter Pan, a boy who never grows up. Jackson purchased the property in 1988 for a sum variously reported to be from $16.5 to $30 million. It was Jackson's home and private amusement park and contained, among other things, a floral clock, numerous statues of children and a zoo. The amusement park included two railroads, a ferris wheel, carousel, super slide, roller coaster, bumper cars and other rides. During his residency there, Jackson brought groups of children and their families to the ranch as day visitors. He also hosted various children overnight, a practice which came under scrutiny when Jackson was accused of sexual misconduct with minors at the ranch, first in 1993 and again in 2003. Jackson said in 2005 that he would not return to the property, saying he no longer considered the ranch a home, feeling the 70 police officers had "violated" it in their searches. In 2006 the ranch was closed and most of the staff dismissed. I wonder what will now become of the Neverland Ranch since Jackson’s passing? I predict it will become a tourist attraction similar to Elvis’ Granceland.
