decent Dilla disciple like Nicolay, though both are not the most creative of the lot. there's a Japanese cat called Nujabes who's taken similar inspiration from the Jay Dee sound and made it his own. there's also Kev Brown doing the same thing, but imo better.

some nice 9th remixes there, i've never really listened to a lot of his mixes.

I've been into 9th ever since I found out he produced that song for Destiny's Child. Plus he was part of this hip hop group called Little Brother. I checked them out and they're pretty cool.

Here's a track I've been tryna find the instrumental too, since the one at Imeem is like 30 dang seconds. From the debut album, The Listening.
