I love to see how once again the media can batter a great out of what they do and it just shows how much they love a downfall.
Exactly. And even look. Now that this mess has come out on Tiger, ever all other races are calling him BLACK. Yes, I hate what Tiger is going through but do not call him black now and ask blacks what we think and expect blacks to be more loyal to him than anyone else (again, I do not see no one asking asians about tiger or what the asian community thinks). The difference between Michael and 'Cheetah' is that Michael never denied that he was black. He's gone on record many times declaring his African-American heritage. Cheetah has done the opposite.
Sure there are some bad apples in the Black community who spoke negatively against Mike, but when you look at those Black individuals, you'll see they themselves are two-faced like our pile Cheetah. Gail Kim comes to mind. hmmm
Sorry but blacks can not be racist. Blacks can be prejudice but not racist. In order tobe racist one race must have power to controll. Blacks do not have that power (and no Obama does not eliminate racism). And I agree with you there. I'm a Black woman and I can give less of darn who Tiger dates cause it ain't none of my buissness. Some people are just too racist sometimes.
And that Johnson woman is a friken racist, she's probably one of the types of black folks who think MJ bleached his skin and hates his race. And I hated that comment she said about Obama (you should vote for a president not because of who he's dating, but because of what he can do for America). :mat: I hate it when news people interview people like this.
If I am out of line, let me know and I will soften it up.
Sorry buit this is true. heck I knew some blacks who thought like this. Like it or not, race matters and it is still an issue. And people can try an be "politically correct" but trust me, when everyone goes home or be in their confront zone, the race issues come out.Tiger's troubles widen his distance from blacks

Amid all the headlines generated by Tiger Woods' troubles — the puzzling car accident, the suggestions of marital turmoil and multiple mistresses — little attention has been given to the race of the women linked with the world's greatest golfer.
Except in the black community.
When three white women were said to be romantically involved with Woods in addition to his blonde, Swedish wife, blogs, airwaves and barbershops started humming, and Woods' already tenuous standing among many blacks took a beating.
On the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner radio show, Woods was the butt of jokes all week.
"Thankfully, Tiger, you didn't marry a black woman. Because if a sister caught you running around with a bunch of white hoochie-mamas," one parody suggests in song, she would have castrated him.
"The Grinch's Theme Song" didn't stop there: "The question everyone in America wants to ask you is, how many white women does one brother waaant?"
As one blogger, Robert Paul Reyes, wrote: "If Tiger Woods had cheated on his gorgeous white wife with black women, the golfing great's accident would have been barely a blip in the blogosphere."
The darts reflect blacks' resistance to interracial romance. They also are a reflection of discomfort with a man who has smashed barriers in one of America's whitest sports and assumed the mantle of the world's most famous athlete, once worn by Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan.
But Woods has declined to identify himself as black, and famously chose the term "Cablinasian" (Caucasian, black, Indian and Asian) to describe the racial mixture he inherited from his African-American father and Thai mother.
This vexed some blacks, but it hasn't stopped them from claiming Woods as one of their own. Or from disapproving of his marriage to Elin Nordegren, despite blacks' historical fight against white racist opponents of mixed marriage.
On the one hand, Ebonie Johnson Cooper doesn't care that Tiger Woods' wife and alleged mistresses are white because Woods is "quote-unquote not really black."
"But at the same time we still see him as a black man with a white woman, and it makes a difference," said Johnson Cooper, a 26-year-old African-American from New York City. "There's just this preservation thing we have among one another. We like to see each other with each other."
Black women have long felt slighted by the tendency of famous black men to pair with white women, and many have a list of current transgressors at the ready.
"We've discussed this for years among black women," said Denene Millner, author of several books on black relationships. "Why is it when they get to this level ... they tend to go directly for the nearest blonde?"
This tendency may be more prominent due to a relative lack of interracial marriages among average blacks. Although a recent Pew poll showed that 94 percent of blacks say it's all right for blacks and whites to date, a study published this year in Sociological Quarterly showed that blacks are less likely to actually date outside their race than are other groups.
"There is a call for loyalty that is stronger in some ways than in other racial communities," said the author of the study, George Yancey, a sociology professor at the University of North Texas and author of the book "Just Don't Marry One."
The color of one's companion has long been a major measure of "blackness" — which is a big reason why the biracial Barack Obama was able to fend off early questions about his black authenticity.
"Had Barack had a white wife, I would have thought twice about voting for him," Johnson Cooper said.
So do Woods' women say something about the intensely private golfer's views on race?
"I would like to say no, but I think it garners a bit of a yes," Johnson Cooper said.
Carmen Van Kerckhove, founder of the race-meets-pop-culture blog Racialicious, said there have been frequent discussions on her site about the fine line between preference and fetish.
"Is there any difference between a white guy with a thing for blondes, and a non-white guy with a thing for blondes?" asked Van Kerckhove, who has a Chinese mother, a Belgian father and a husband born in America to parents from Benin.
She claims that Asians don't fully embrace Woods, either.
"There are two layers of suspicion toward him," Van Kerkhove said. "One toward the apparent pattern in the race of his partners, and the second in the way he sees himself. ... People have been giving him the side-eye for a while."
There's nothing wrong with wanting a mate who shares your culture, as long as it's for the right reasons, the comedienne Sheryl Underwood said after unleashing a withering Woods monologue on Tom Joyner's radio show.
"Would we question when a Jewish person wants to marry other Jewish people?" she said in an interview. "It's not racist. It's not bigotry. It's cultural pride."
"The issue comes in when you choose something white because you think it's better," Underwood said. "And then you never date a black woman or a woman of color or you never sample the greatness of the international buffet of human beings. If you never do that, we got a problem."

Sorry but tiger is not in the same boat as MJ. Again, I do not see any of you talking about what the Asian community thinks of Tiger.u know, the black community in media ain't helpin themselves much. this is reminiscent of how they treated Michael. and now, all of a sudden, they are doing tributes to him now that he is dead..suddenly claiming him as..'our icon', on BET. BET are hypocrites. as a black person, i don't need to see a repeat of this hypocrisy.
So true to a point. But for now, he is the punching boy of the media. And you know the media will always put at the bottom of an article "Tiger is back on top but back in 2009, he cheated on his wife." he will forever be labeled a wh*re just like Chris Brown will forever be labeled a "abuser" and Vick a "dog killer" because these things were proven to be true about them. But he will be back and do just fine he just wont be looked at as "clean" and "wholesome" no more.Okay, I can't stop talking about this. This is Just a topic I like talking about.
I think when all of this hoopla is over, the media will forget all of this and Tiger will pull a Kobe and make a comeback in sports all over again. Just wait a few years and the media will be like Tiger did what?
Wrong, I do not see no one holding Asians to speak about Tiger. Right now, including you, seem to want to hold blacks to be loyal to Tiger. WRONG. Tiger did not want to be called Black and many blacks do not care of him. Even as he is going through this, OTHER RACES (who is is mixed with as well) is calling him BLACK even the girls he slept with. I think what you are seeing now is Tiger did not claim black before this so do NOT claim being black now and no one should expect blacks to be loyal to Tiger no more than anyone expect Asians. If someone was claiming black before trouble, they will be called blacks afterwards so I do not get that comment you made. Now,you came across as a "sell out" when you were on top, many blacks will cut you off when you fall from grace. Blacks are often used by their own and sorry but some think "white is right" until they "fall from grace". This is an issue that is black on black discussed in many outlets and homes.there was, at least, division. i heard black radio stations, where they were joking about MJ. and i hear people in the black community who said he bleached his skin..and i heard people who had a problem with him being married to Lisa Marie Presley, because of skin color. and MJ's album sales were never 'hurt.'. for every fan that felt like turning away, there were ten thousand who took that fan's place, no matter what color they were.
what gets to me, is when a person conveniently considers an artist or athelete to be black when things are such that they feel like supporting the artist, but if they do something that one feels they can't support, then suddenly, they're no longer black? what is that?
race shouldn't be an issue, but the principle behind those attitudes, is what is disturbing.
the bottom line is, that a person can be a mixture of every race around the world, and there are those people will claim that person, when it's convienient, and not claim them, when it is not convenient, even if there was nothing to claim, in the first place. that is sad.
WRONG, that is not true what you are saying about BET. Yes, many blacks had a problem with choices Michael made in terms of race however, blacks ALWAYS uphold MIchael (even during his trial most blacks thought he was innocenct when many whites thought he was guilty even MJ knew this). And when Emienm did that crap video mocking MJ, it was BET and black audiences who stood by Michael, NOT VH1 or MTV.u know, the black community in media ain't helpin themselves much. this is reminiscent of how they treated Michael. and now, all of a sudden, they are doing tributes to him now that he is dead..suddenly claiming him as..'our icon', on BET. BET are hypocrites. as a black person, i don't need to see a repeat of this hypocrisy.
ugh...I am so over this all ready....I think that these people need to work this out themselves and the media needs to stay out of their business now....enough crap has been said IMHO....I feel bad for the wife and kid..
I think its so ridiculous he had to do that. Its his private life, what does he need to apologise to us for?! His wife and their family are the only people who need an apology. We didn't even need the constant reports about it in the first place.
divorce number 1,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 in this world. at least.
That's an intentionally exaggerated number, right? 'Cause otherwise I just wanna point out that there are only like 7 billion people in the world at the same time lol.
