Oh God, I just can't stop crying...:weeping::weeping::weeping: I can't breath! It's like I've seen his funerals again... Poor little kids, I wish I could give them a big hug... :weeping::weeping::weeping:

The kids made me cry. They were clearly nervous and had rehearsed what they were going to say,
but what immense pressure to put on a couple of children who have been shielded from the spotlight their entire lives!
At least this proves once and for all that when Paris spoke at the memorial, it was impulsive and heartfelt,
unlike what some idiots were saying.

I actually loved the Earth song tribute as well. I'm glad Michael is getting all this recognition.
So what if there are some hypocrites out there. Would it be better if people kept treating Michael they way he was treated
before? Ignoring him, ridiculing him even? I think not! I think it's great that the world is finally giving him his due. Better late
than never. Of course I wish he was here to experience it, but I do believe he can see it from where he is now. And his
children get to see it as well. It must be reassuring for them to know that so many people love their father. I'm sure their proud.
 
It was truly heartbreaking, I sat feeling so lost and numb. It's just all too upsetting and depressing. I hope there comes a day when I can watch things like this and smile and celebrate Michael, But for now it is still too hard. :sigh:

IMO they should have just played MJ's vocals for the tribute. The power, emotionality of his voice just stands out and when I heard the other singers sing I wished I was hearing his voice singing that lyric instead. The ending is especially powerful and they cut it. They should have ended with just his voice singing that. My fav performance was when he sang the entire Earth Song live at the Royal Concert in Brunei in 1996 with beautiful ab libs at the end.

Viewers of the Grammy tribute performance did not get the true beauty and power of this song imo.

it was really really sad. im still crying. especially when i see the children its like reality hits you all over again :(
 
They are such beautifull young people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What Prince said hits my heart.
Michael"s heart would burst of pride. He raised them so well.......I am speechless. And I can tell you I am not afraid for them being in the spotlight.....Michael taught them well.
And they have all the love.....I could feel the love and admiration from the audience and the whole world. This is so heartbreaking and emotional......
Michael......how we miss you.........

We're all MJ fans here, and we all share the bitterness with regards to those who may have turned their backs on Michael in the past, but we need to get passed this now.

You don't know that the kids were pressured into giving a speech, and you can only assume. I believe they would have certainly been asked, and with the advice and guidance of Kathrine they would have decided that they wanted to accept the award for their father.

I strongly doubt any ratings push, using the kids to somehow boost ratings. Besides us fans, I doubt the average Joe would tune in simply to catch a glimpse of the Jackson children. I think to believe this is a little silly, IMO.
 
 
Back again and I knew it. Someone had to report negatively about it. Stupid people. It's a german article saying it was embarassing, their outfits looked like carneval and so on. She wrote that because in the end of the article, she's claiming Joe forced them like he forced everyone of his children. Ignorant. God thanks you can leave a comment there, I'll definitely register.

:cry: tribute was good. I especially love smokey's singing there.. but Michael's topped it all. I dont think other performers could replace him. I miss him so much and I miss him going to stage to take his own awards especially the grammy 1984 and 1993???? I want to rewind the time so badlY !!!!

Dont worry it, shes only jealous & ticked off that once again michael's chidren have humanised him once more and did it wonderfully!

And there are so many Jacksons that they can't be all of the there. As I said here many times before, I was among the many who thought the kinds shouldn't be there on stage. However, they proved me wrong, for they were great. I just hope now they can handle this carefully and keep away from media, if possible.

I am a bit tired of we seeing fishy things everywhere. Maybe it was that simple: MJ Kids, no MJ brothers.

Very true. It was nice seeing his children up there accepting his award on his behalf, they are the heirs and deserve to be doing this. It was a needed changed. Usually Jermaine Jackson accepts Michael's, and quiete frankly he seems to have a memory problem since he barely remembers who the awards are for. When Jermaine hits a stage everything is about himself, his wife, his children and his God.
